OPI Gel Color
Get excited, because we are! This week, we are absolutely in love with the brand new gel color system from OPI. It was officially launched last weekend at the Professional Beauty show 2012 at the Excel. And Marc and Amy were lucky enough to be able to attend this very special event!
Let us tell you more about, what we think, is an amazing new system. It’s a pure gel and is the only gel colour of it’s kind. And what’s even greater is that it is available in your favourite iconic OPI shades.
As you can see from the picture, it really does give an intense shine. And we can tell you that this will last for weeks. When it comes to having them off, don’t worry, this involves an easy soak off process which only takes 15 minutes.
It is suitable for your hands and toes and it cures in just 30 seconds! Yes, you did just hear us right. Only 30 seconds. This is much quicker than other brands that are out there. And for this curing process, we have a lovely LED lamp, which cures much faster than UV.
So now you know the gel facts, let’s talk you through a little treatment routine, just to wet your beauty appetite. The cuticles on your nails are cleaned and removed to prepare the nails. Then a base coat is applied, which protects the nail throughout the duration of your gels. After this, 2 layers of gel color are applied and this is finished off with a super shiny topcoat which really helps to seal in the colour.
